The actual battle was a hard faught fight where the Americans took the high ground from the british. During the night the Americans gathered there artillery and withdrew due to lack of ammunition and water.

Casualties British reported 5 officers and 76 other ranks killed, 30 officers and 532 other ranks wounded, and 14 officers and 219 men missing or taken prisoner.

Brown gave his losses as 11 officers and 160 men killed, 53 officers and 520 men wounded, and 8 officers and 109 men missing or taken prisoner.

Alone, Scott was able to advance his brigade over the bridge and in front of the British and defeat them. The British retreated.

Casualties:
British 106 killed, 319 wounded, 75 wounded prisoners, 15 unwounded prisoners and 18 missing.

U.S. 60 killed, 249 wounded and 19 missing

Now I need a roster for the american faction
I will try to have 5 maps and 2 factions for the 15th january.

give me the simplest 1812 map and british and american roster

how do I call the factions?

british colonials?
oversea regiments?

and the yanks?

usa?

ok fullin here goes still dont have my plate book yet but there were

45 U.S. infantry regiments. prior to the war only 7 which was brought up to 25 in anticipation of the war.

3 Battalions of U.S Rangers

1 Regiment of Mounted Rangers

4 U.S. Rifle Regiments

Ohh and lots and lots of miltia in 1814 alone there was 197,653.
