Command granted by Lord Fullin

10th of November 2012

Map: Russia 3

Alliance 1:
Lord Nick .- United Kingdom
[N] Fullin .- Prussia
Perfidious Díaz .- Austria
[N]Bloddy Bill .- Austria

Alliance 2:
ECrixus .- Russia
[N] Sloop .- France
[N] Dunk Funk .- France
[N] Tac .- France

A great battle played by N and friends. I was granted command by Fullin. I ordered a frontal atack against Sloop and Dunk Funk on the right . The battle for the 500 unit building was vicious. Lots of units were thrown there into the carnage. When that flank was stabilized by British firepower defeating a frontal melee charge, Prussia started a retreat that lured France to come downhill only to get flanked by Austria from the city. On the left Austria also played a major rolle by holding the entire Russian Army and several french forces. The battle had massive lag but only lasted 15 minutes game time.

Aside my obvious brilliance, it was Lord Nick the one to first spot the opportunity of the over advanced french and so was he that pointed out Diaz to advance on the french flank and join the crush.

Nick and Fullin managed to hold that position long enough and even pushing them back sometimes. I still remember how that Cav battle in the front of Fullin lines with Hungarian Hussars, Prussian Dragoons managed to win against French Cuirasiers and Dragoons. The tipping point of the battle if I may say.

Lord nicks stunning defence of a hill with cannon next to the red line behind a house should be a lesson to us all.
