Years ago while watching my children at the playground I seldom intervened in their disputes. What I found most interesting was how behaviors would or would not change. The process of cognitive development or lack thereof was fascinating. I have also applied this process of observation at the local zoo's ape exhibit and here among all of you as well. I must say the children and the apes are far more interesting and hold much more promise for intellectual advancement.
