I was given the task of defending the extreme left flank, however there was not much ground to cover, therefore I had sent most of my reserves to support the center due to the overwhelming numbers of an Austrian and Prussian advance on our lines. Two other units of line were sent to the extreme right flank to aid in defending a small river choke point from a Prussian advance. Our artillery position (French artillery position) had over watch on the entire advance of the combined Austrian and Prussian advance. As the battle went on, attack after attack after attack failed for the Austrians and Prussians. As the battle came to an end we had successfully defended the strategic points and were able to successfully push the Prussians and Austrians back.
